Flying to bali
Flying to the southern hemisphere has rarely been an enjoyable things. Pilots seem less able (and more drunk), planes seem less stable (and smell of gasoline) and one’s fellow passengers are quite terrible in both appearance and language.
However, when one arrives at their Bali resort, the world seems to quite change. The land is quite green and peaceful, the food is not bad and the water is actually blue. Disembarking from my private jet, the first time that I visited Bali in 1984, I was amazed by how savage and yet civilised the island was. A genuine paradise, in terms of it seeming unspoilt but yet is well stocked with flush toilets.
The luxury Bali vills, is now something of legend - being world renowned for its quality as a holiday destination for the tasteful. Unfortunately this status has also brought its downfall, the island having lost its quality edge over the past years.
Many of your companions on your holiday will be from Manchester; they will all drink bear and likely be hopelessly over weight. Still, quite good for a laugh.
