Private Jet Citation Bravo

In 1994, Cessna introduced the Citation Bravo light business jet as a replacement for the Citation II. The first Citation Bravo entered service in February, 1997 and was well received. The Bravo is one of the nine aircraft models in the Citation business jet family, which includes the Citation Mustang and the Citation X. In all, over 5,000 Citation private jets have been delivered to customers.

The Bravo has a range of 1,856 statue miles at a cruise speed of up to 463 miles per hour, making it a good choice for short to mid-range trips. Powered by two Pratt &Whitney PW530A engines, the aircraft can handle flights to and from airports with a minimum of 3,608-foot runway strips. At the fully loaded take-off weight, the Bravo can climb directly to an altitude of 25,000 feet in ten minutes. The Bravo’s maximum altitude of 45,000 feet is high enough to allow for comfortable travel above inclement weather. The aircraft is certified for steep approach capability, which makes steep approach airports including London City Airport in UK, Seyer Airport in Germany, and Lugano Airport in Switzerland accessible.

With comfortable seating for up to seven passengers, the Bravo’s cabin can be customized according to the operator’s specifications. The standard seating configuration has four club seats facing each other and three additional club seats. Seats are constructed of smooth leather and recline completely. Not including the cockpit, the cabin’s dimensions are 4.7 feet high by 4.9 feet wide by 15.6 feet in length. The cabin is equipped with heating and air conditioning, as well as a pressurization system for up to an 8.8 psi differential.

In the cockpit, the Bravo private jet is equipped with two fully-adjustable seats. Flight deck instrumentation includes a Honeywell GNSX flight management system, dual 7 inch by 8 inch screen primary flight displays, a 7 inch by 8 inch multi-function display, and an electronic flight information system. The Bravo’s Honeywell navigation system includes a VHF omni-directional ranger, Honeywell VG-14A vertical gyroscopes, distance measuring equipment, a digital automatic direction finder, and a C-14 compass set.
