Citation Bravo/Excel Private Jet

The Cessna 560XL Citation Excel offers standup headroom and the comfort of a wide cabin in a small to medium size corporate jet. A private jet that was built using recommendations of past customers, the Citation Excel is a shortened version of the Citation X, but retains the comfort and luxury.

Designed for as many as 10 passengers, there are four different cabin configurations. With a maximum cruising speed of 795km/h (429kt) at 35,000 feet, and a maximum altitude certification of 45,000 feet, the Citation Excel can range 3852 kilometers at an economical cruising speed with two crew and four passengers.

Powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW-545A turbofans, the Citation Excel was first delivered in July of 1998 and by August of 2000 Cessna had built 100 of these jets and were pumping out one every three days.

The empty weight comes in at 12,148 lbs. with a maximum takeoff weight of 20,000 lbs. With a maximum fuel capacity at 6,750 lbs., the Citation Excel has a useful load capacity of 8,052 lbs.

The spacious cabin has a dropped aisle that runs the length of the cabin, giving the Citation Excel the largest cabin in a light business jet according to Cessna. The interior of the Citation Excel is as luxurious as would be expected of this class of private jet. Featuring plush leather seats, a cabin option that features a center club configuration and a large divan that seats two, many come with executive tables and a deluxe refreshment center.

Many interior configurations feature entertainment systems that feature as many as six individual monitors, DVD and CD players all surrounded by high-gloss cabinetry. In addition to an aft lavatory, you will find a coat closet and plenty of storage.
